History
The Department of Architecture was established in 2013 under the Faculty of Fine Arts, Design and Architecture.
The purpose or mission of our faculty; To raise individuals who are active in the fields of environment, planning, design, and art, who can compete at the national and international levels, who are open to development, and who can present their works originally and who are prone to teamwork, within the understanding of education and training based on contemporary, free, academic and professional knowledge. In line with this main purpose; To create and support creative and sharing staff that support national development by bringing together the concepts of nature, planning, design, and science, art, and technology, to conduct research that will contribute to science and art at an international level, to prepare the infrastructure and to train staff to carry out these researches and to ensure their sustainability.
The vision of our faculty is to be one of the leading faculties that have achieved scientific excellence, have qualified lecturers and students in their field, closely follow planning, design, and artistic developments, are regional pioneers, and are among the research and education units that can compete internationally. In line with this goal; As a modern faculty, it works for the benefit of society at the national and international level, physical planning, space design, science, technology, and artistic studies, high student and academic staff satisfaction, working to solve the problems of our country, especially in Tekirdağ and our region, university, industry and society. To be a leading faculty in providing cooperation.
